This is a brand new original Milling for Home Machinist Book.

This book is part of our Workshop Machinists Series that we started carrying, because we found them helpful in our shop. We have the entire collection in our library and found that many of our customers found them useful too.

The Milling for Home Machinists book covers a variety of useful projects and accessories that you can make for a milling machine, like including an angle plate, dividing head, clamps, parallels, a grinding tool holder, boring head, dividing head, and an excellent milling cutter sharpener.

The Milling for Home Machinists book has lots of pictures and diagrams to walk you through the process of using a mill in your shop from beginning to end in plain English. As you complete each project your skill level and knowledge will increase as you build a series of useful and increasingly complex tools. This provides a lot of useful tooling and techniques even for advanced or more skilled mill owners, but this book does not assume you have prior knowledge.

You will not only receive a training manual on the use of a milling machine in your shop, but you will get a practical instruction guide on how to apply that knowledge. I highly recommend The Milling Machine for Home Machinists book, that we carry, to read first to set up and familiarize yourself with your mill. It’s also a good reference manual and a good refresher for anyone.

We do more than sell manuals.

We are a father and son team that operate a 5,000 sq/ft metal machine and wood shop. We've had to design our own machines (including CNC), and fixtures for our wood working. We make some of the smallest most precise inlay in the world. We maintain tolerances of 0.0005" in a 12" strip of wood, and we have duck calls with over 1,100 pieces of wood in them.

We've collected various machines and accumulated lots of manuals over the years, and we like to help keep these old machines running. Some of the manuals on this site are from machines in our shop like the Rockwell 10" unisaw, Rockwell uniplane, Walker Turner 1100 16" band saw, etc.. Check out our About Us page, and feel free to Contact Us with any questions. Our main site is Ozarkwoodworker.com. We plan to offer more products in the future. Check out our Ozark Shop Talk Blog.
We offer free domestic shipping, and upgrades to express methods. We ship every business day. International shipping is available. We offer First Class and Priority Flat Rate. Shipping cost should be calculated automatically during checkout.
