This is a brand new original Useful Machine Shop Tools to Make for Home Shop Machinists. This book is part of our Workshop Machinists Series that we started carrying, because we found them helpful in our shop. We have the entire collection in our library and found that many of our customers found them useful too.

This comprehensive data book offers a wide range of reliable information, useful in both the metalworking workshop and for those designing engineered items, tools, and machines. In one concise volume, it provides data that are otherwise available only by reference to many different sources or more expensive publications. From drill sizes, turning tools, and thread data to screw cutting combinations, electrical components, and hardware dimensions, Metalworker’s Data Book for Home Machinists covers 31 categories of essential data that will assist the metalworker both at the design stage of a project and during its manufacture in the workshop. A valuable resource for machinists working to current standards, it includes details of the latest metric thread forms. And for those involved in restoration work, the book also offers details related to systems that are no longer widely used and for which data is not easy to locate.

We do more than sell manuals.

We are a father and son team that operate a 5,000 sq/ft metal machine and wood shop. We've had to design our own machines (including CNC), and fixtures for our wood working. We make some of the smallest most precise inlay in the world. We maintain tolerances of 0.0005" in a 12" strip of wood, and we have duck calls with over 1,100 pieces of wood in them.

We've collected various machines and accumulated lots of manuals over the years, and we like to help keep these old machines running. Some of the manuals on this site are from machines in our shop like the Rockwell 10" unisaw, Rockwell uniplane, Walker Turner 1100 16" band saw, etc.. Check out our About Us page, and feel free to Contact Us with any questions. Our main site is Ozarkwoodworker.com. We plan to offer more products in the future. Check out our Ozark Shop Talk Blog.
We offer free domestic shipping, and upgrades to express methods. We ship every business day. International shipping is available. We offer First Class and Priority Flat Rate. Shipping cost should be calculated automatically during checkout.
