This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Hardinge HLV-EM High Speed Super-Precision Tool Room Lathe with English and Metric Dials and Dual Gearbox threading instructions operator’s manual, and was published in 1978. This manual is also a good reference for the Hardinge HLV-DR model.
This threading manual contains information about how to properly set up and operate the dual gearbox that is on the HLV-EM. It shows how to set up the outside change gears, and how to set up and mount the change gear bracket. It also contains all the threading charts for English standard and metric threads.
