This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Clausing Atlas 100 series 12″ Metal Lathe Operator’s and Parts Manual. This manual covers both standard gear lathes and quick change gear lathes. It contains information on operating instructions, lubrication, and cross sectional diagrams of all the parts.
Please note: This manual cover the older 100 series lathes and not the later 4800 series lathes.
The two lathes were very similar, but there is a significant difference in the apron design.
