I carry 6 different Manual of Lathe Operation and Machinists Tables books that cover the Atlas Craftsman-Sears Lathes made past 1937 in my store. See “Which manual works with my lathe” section below for explanations.

No.12 Pages For Your Shop Notes

For your convenience, I have reprinted up six different original versions of this Manual of Lathe Operation book to cover the large span of lathes that Atlas produced from circa 1937 to the late 1900’s. Some of the manuals overlap on certain machines and parts, because Atlas didn’t change every machine and part at precise times, but I can help you match the appropriate manual with your machine. SEE “Which manual works with your lathe:” below.

I am aware that there are original versions of this manual sold on eBay, but I am not trying to compete with those manuals. By many request, this collection of manuals was reproduced for my Atlas Craftsman-Sears customers. I am trying to provide a complete collection of manuals after years of research and processing, scanning, and cleaning over 1,500 pages from these 6 different manuals. I hope my effort helps you with locating the appropriate manual for operating your size and vintage of lathe.

Overview:

I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear.
