POWERMATIC 60 8″ Jointer Oldest Instruction Service Parts Manual

$15.00

Description

Number of Pages: 6

This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Powermatic Model 60 8-inch Jointer Instruction and Parts Manual starting with serial numbers 3000.  This is the oldest version of the Powermatic 60 jointer that I’ve seen. This version of the Model 60 has circular hand wheels to adjust the table heights underneath each table as shown on the cover.

This is an old and very basic manual. It has a page of instructions on how to align everything properly and set the knives. There is a diagram to help with this, and a diagram on the jointer dimension. There is a clear explosive view diagram of the parts that just includes the table and above. There is a parts list with descriptions of the parts.

We have a few different Model 60 manuals in our store. If yours is a newer model, please check them out. They are all called Model 60.

The manual above may help you operate and maintain your jointer, but if you would like to learn more about properly tuning and using your jointer, I highly recommend you check out this book here: The Jointer & Planer- The Missing Shop Manual. It covers almost every topic you would want to know about in a lot more detail with pictures and illustrations than you standard jointer manual. Topics covered include: changing jointer knives, sharpening knives, edge and face jointing, table alignment, jointing curved edge, etc... Overview:

I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear, which can be better than a low-resolution free PDF download.
