This book covers and shows how to perform different shapes and features with different types of reciprocating tools and setups. The book covers complex items like multiple cam and irregular-shaped parts. This book is for designers and those interested in lowering production costs.
The book does cover Fellow gear shapers. It covers some of the features and attachments. Most of the attachments and devices apply to the No. 7 and No. 7A Fellows Gear Shapers, but all types of Gear Shapers include the same general features. A lot of different “Tripping” device attachments are show and explained on how to set up.
If you are getting into gear making, this would be one of the main books to have in your library.
