This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Bullard Cut-master Vertical Turret Lathe VTL Operations Maintenance & Parts Manual, which covers the 30″, 36″, 42″, 54″, 64″, and 74″. This manual covers the proper procedures for lifting and installing the different size variants. The manual goes into a lot of detail on the proper operating procedures, and discusses it of the many features on these machines. It has all the lubrication instructions, including the capacities of the reservoirs, and it discusses the coolant systems. It contains the thread cutting, drum scoring, and angular turning charts.
The parts diagrams are very clear and well drawn, and the parts list are in the back. For some reason Bullard didn’t make some of the parts diagrams on foldouts, which we have the ability to publish. They chose to make some diagrams stretch across two different pages, however there are small details missing between the pages, but everything is clear. You can make sense of it, but that is just how they did it. This Bullard manual also has the wiring diagram for these VTLs. Overall this is a well done manual with lots of information, and you definitely need one for one of these machines. Check out the index pictured above.
