This manual has been written for both the designer and the operator. For the designer it will always be one of the foremost requirements to take into account all possible stages of operation in his plant. The more he knows of the machines available and of what can be done with them, the better and more efficient will his work be. For the operator this intimate acquaintance with his machine is a matter of
course if he wants to utilize all its special features and possible applications to the full. The texts and illustrations on the following pages describe the basic methods of operation. It should not be difficult to extract from them any information desired. โThe subsequent work samples, thoroughly explained, give an easy-to-follow description of the various possibilities of application and show the abundant variety of shapes and forms as well as the economy of the DECKEL KF machines in mechanical patternmaking directly from the measurements in a given drawing.
