This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Standard-Modern Tool Company Model 1760 & 1780 Metal Lathe Operator’s Handbook and Parts Manual. This manual contains information on lubrication, adjustments, and pictures of the parts laid out in order of assembly. It even contains information on operating the taper attachment, which is rare for a lathe manual.
I reproduced this from an original Standard-Modern Lathe manual from the manufacturer. In this particular Standard-Modern manual the photo images were not originally printed very well. However, all of the text and diagrams are excellent. I did the best I could with the photos, and you can make out everything you need to know in the them.
