Description
Number of Pages: 15
This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Oliver Machinery Company No. 159M Metal Spinning Lathe Owner’s and Parts Manual. This manual contains information about the design and specifications of this lathe as well as instructions on lubricating properly.
This 159M lathe manual also contains wiring diagrams of the switch and the 3-phase magnetic starter as well as cross-sectional view parts diagrams of the headstock assembly and tailstock, which range in date from 1949-1957. As is typical with ALL Oliver manuals. They only provided parts diagrams of the moving or important parts of the machine.
We also have two other books in our How-to Section about metal spinning. They are:
- How to Do Metal Spinning on a Lathe Handbook Manual
- How-To Do Metal Spinning Lathe Techniques for the Trade Handbook
Overview:
I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear.
