Description

Number of Pages:33

This is a reproduction, not a photocopy, of an original Craftsman Jig Saw and Band Saw Handbook revised 1954. This is a complete handbook covering all the branches of band saw and jig saw operations in the home workshop with over 75 hundred photographic illustrations and line drawings. This book goes into more detail on operations and set ups than the owner manuals do. It even includes information on how to properly adjust the saws, and proper procedures for making different types of cuts. The information in this book is good for a variety of different vintages and brands of band saw and jig saws.

One reason that I’ve reprinted some of these older books is because they have a lot of information with illustrations that get directly to the point.

Overview:

I have collected this information for many years and have found the information they contain to be priceless in using and setting up the machines properly. I believe this manual will be a valuable resource of knowledge that will provide a lot of helpful information that is often hard to find. My manuals are not photocopies. I maintain a high standard of quality in my reproductions. Most of the manuals I reproduce look better than their originals. I have professionally digitally edited every page, and removed stains, wrinkles and handwriting. All of the manuals are printed on thick white paper to withstand shop wear and tear.

We are a father and son team that operate a 5,000 sq/ft metal machine and wood shop. We've had to design our own machines (including CNC), and fixtures for our wood working. We make some of the smallest most precise inlay in the world. We maintain tolerances of 0.0005" in a 12" strip of wood, and we have duck calls with over 1,100 pieces of wood in them.
